Adding bay and corner bay windows
Bay windows project out from one wall; corner bays wrap two walls at a building corner. Here's how to place each.
Bay and corner bay windows add interior alcoves and panoramic glass to a room. Both place in two clicks; the bay auto-carves the wall it's placed on.
Step by step
- 1
Pick the type
Build Panel → Windows section. Click Bay Window (one wall) or Corner Bay Window (two walls).
- 2
Click the wall (or corner)
Bay: Click the wall where the bay projects. Corner Bay: Click the corner where the bay wraps two walls.
- 3
Set width and projection
Inspector → Width (length along the wall — typically 60–120 inches for bay). Projection (how far it pushes out — 16–36 inches).
- 4
Verify in 3D
Switch to 3D. The bay renders with the alcove inside and the protrusion outside. Walk through it to confirm.
