1. Introduction

RoomSketch3D ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, and how long we keep it when you use our website, web app, and iOS and Android apps (together, the "Service").

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information (name, email, and an account identifier) from them. We also store your app preferences (such as units and language), your answers to optional onboarding questions, and when and how you last signed in.

Design Data

We store the designs you create — rooms, walls, dimensions, furniture placements, notes and design names — so they sync across your devices.

Some features work with images. Each is handled differently, and only when you use that feature:

Please don't upload images showing people, documents or other personal details you don't want processed. Only upload images you have the right to use.

Purchases and AI Credits

Payments are processed by Apple (iOS), Google (Android) or Stripe (web). We never see or store your card details. We receive and keep a record of each purchase (product, price, currency, date and the store's transaction identifier) and, for AI credits, your credit balance and how credits were used, so we can deliver what you bought, handle refunds and prevent fraud.

Usage Data

We use Google Analytics on our website and in the app, and Vercel Analytics on our website, to understand how the Service is used (for example pages visited, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location). Google Analytics uses cookies. We also record in-app events linked to your account — such as which features you use and on which days — to improve the product and fix problems. We may also use Google Ads conversion measurement to learn whether our ads lead to sign-ups and purchases; it reports that a purchase happened, not what you design.

Cookies

We use cookies that keep you signed in; the Service does not work without them. Google Analytics and Google Ads set their own cookies as described above.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your designs or images to train AI models.

4. AI Processing

AI features run only when you start them. The image involved is sent over an encrypted connection to the provider listed above, which processes it to return a result to us. Under their business API terms, these providers do not use the content we send to train their models, and they may keep it for a limited period for security and abuse monitoring before deleting it. AI results can be inaccurate — always check AI-drafted plans, and treat renders as illustrations.

5. Data Security and Access

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest. Your designs and uploaded images are private: they are served only in response to requests from your signed-in account, and your designs are never public unless you choose to share one. Your Picture Gallery photos stay private even when you share a design: they are not included on shared links. A small number of authorized staff can access your designs and uploaded files, only to provide support you request or to investigate problems with the Service.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual designs, photos and renders at any time, and you can delete your account from your account settings. You can delete any Picture Gallery photo at any time from the Picture Gallery; this removes it from our storage, and it no longer appears in the 3D views of your designs or in future renders (frames that used it show a neutral placeholder instead). Renders you generated earlier that already show the photo stay in your render history until you delete those renders. Deleting your account deletes your account, designs, purchase records, credit balance and all files you uploaded or generated (floor-plan images, Picture Gallery photos, AI render photos and renders, custom symbols and support attachments). Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before they are overwritten. Notifications the App Store sends us about purchases and refunds are kept for accounting and fraud prevention. Usage data already collected by Google Analytics is kept under Google's retention settings and is not linked to your name or email.
