Floor Plan App
The Floor Plan App You Can Take Into the Room
The best time to plan a room is when you're standing in it. RoomSketch3D is the full app on iPhone, iPad and Android — draw, measure, furnish, check and see it in 3D — and every design syncs to the web app, so you can capture on site and finish on a big screen.
$19.99 once — no subscription, no free trial — on web, iPhone/iPad and Android. 30-day money-back guarantee.
- 5,800+ users
- 12,800+ designs created
- 4.8 on the App Store (US)

The whole app, not a viewer
On a phone you get the same planner as on a computer: draw walls to exact lengths, add doors and windows, pick from the full furniture catalog, run Smart Flow Check and switch to 3D. The layout adapts to a small screen — sheets slide up for furniture and building tools — but nothing is held back.
- iPhone and iPad: iOS 16 or later
- Android: 8.0 or later
- Web: any modern browser

Scan a room with your iPhone
On iPhone, AR Scan measures the room through the camera: point at each corner and tap Add Corner, and a live floor plan builds as you go, showing the distance from the last corner and the running area. Tap Done and it becomes a floor plan to refine. It works best on iPhone XS or newer and is most accurate on Pro models with LiDAR; you can always type in measured lengths afterwards.
No AR? Snap a photo of the room and let AI draft a plan, or photograph an existing floor plan and trace it.

One design list on every device
Designs save to the cloud as you work, so the plan you sketched on your phone at the new apartment is waiting on your laptop when you get home. One purchase covers web, iPhone/iPad and Android.
It needs an internet connection. If the signal drops for a moment you can keep editing; your changes queue and sync when you're back. Opening the app and the 3D view need a connection.
How sync works
What it does — and what it doesn't
It does
- Runs the full planner natively on iPhone, iPad and Android
- Scans a room with AR on iPhone
- Drafts a plan from a room photo or a photo of a floor plan
- Syncs every design with the web app automatically
- Exports and shares from the phone
It doesn't
- Work fully offline — it needs a connection, though edits survive a short dropout
- Offer AR scanning on Android yet
- Charge separately per device — one purchase covers all of them
See it in the full demo
The 3:25 demo builds a two-story home from a blank page. It starts at 3:08, “Export, languages and devices” — scrub back to watch the whole build.
Floor Plan App questions
Straight answers, including the limits
Is there a floor plan app for both iPhone and Android?
Yes. RoomSketch3D has native apps for iPhone and iPad (iOS 16+) and Android (8.0+), plus a web app. One $19.99 purchase covers all of them, and designs sync between devices.
Can the app measure my room with the camera?
On iPhone, yes — AR Scan lets you tap each corner of the room through the camera and builds the floor plan as you go (best on iPhone XS or newer, most accurate on LiDAR Pro models). It isn't available on Android yet. On any device you can start from a photo of the room or of an existing plan instead.
Does the floor plan app work offline?
Not fully. It needs a connection to open and for the 3D view, but if the signal drops while you're editing, your changes are kept and sync when you're back.
Do I pay again on each device?
No. One $19.99 purchase unlocks the app on web, iPhone/iPad and Android.
