Walk mode in 3D

Walk mode = first-person camera. WASD on desktop; on-screen joystick on mobile. Best way to check sightlines and clearance.

Step by step

    Enter Walk Mode

    In the 3D view, click the Walk button in the top toolbar.

    Desktop controls

    W / A / S / D or arrow keys — forward, left, back, right. Mouse — look around (FPS-style). Q / E — strafe left/right (alternative).

    Mobile controls

    Left thumb (on-screen joystick) — move. Right thumb (drag anywhere on screen) — look.

  4. 4

    Exit

    Click the Orbit button (or press Escape) to return to orbit mode.

Tips

Walk the whole house

Start at the front door. Walk through every room. You'll catch sightlines, doorway angles, and head clearance issues that 2D and orbit views miss.
