Sunken living rooms and raised platforms, with steps in one tap
Drag a rectangle or tap a room, choose Sunken or Raised, set how deep or how high — and in 3D the floor steps down with a finished edge, your flooring carries on at the new level, and furniture stands on it.

A sunken conversation pit or a raised dais changes a room completely — and it's exactly the kind of idea that's hard to picture from a sketch. Tap Sunken / Raised Floor in the Build panel, drag a rectangle (or tap a room to use the whole room), then choose Sunken or Raised and set how deep or how high.
In 3D the floor steps down or up with a finished edge, the room's flooring carries on at the new level, and furniture you place there stands on the lower or higher floor. One tap on Add steps puts a run of steps on the open edge, sized so the steps add up exactly to the drop — and Flow Check warns if a piece of furniture sits across the edge.

Frequently asked questions
Can I design a sunken living room?
Yes. Use Sunken / Raised Floor to lower part of the floor, set the depth, and tap Add steps for a run of steps sized exactly to the drop. Furniture placed in the pit stands on the lower floor in 3D.
Can I make a raised platform instead?
Yes — switch the area to Raised and set its height. Add steps, and use the Steps settings' UP / DN toggle to set their direction.
