How sync works across web, iOS, and Android
One account, every device. Here's how your designs move between the web app and the mobile apps.
RoomSketch3D keeps one copy of every design on your account, not on the device. Change something on the web and it's on your phone a second or two later; sketch on the tablet and it's waiting on the laptop. There's nothing to sync by hand and no Save button — the cloud icon in the editor tells you it's done.
This page shows what that looks like, the one rule that makes it work (sign in the same way everywhere), and what happens to edits you make offline.
Step by step

Every change goes to your account
Add or move a piece. The cloud icon at the top right shows a spinner, then turns green — Saved to cloud. From that moment the design is on your account, not just this device. See Did my design save? for every state of that icon.

The same designs list on every device
Open the designs list (the + button or the dashboard). Your designs are listed with when they were last updated. Sign in on another device with the same account and this list is identical — including the design you just changed, marked Just now.

Open it anywhere
Open the design on the other device and it's exactly as you left it — walls, furniture, materials, floors. Keep editing; the changes flow back the same way.

On the phone
The iPhone, iPad and Android apps show the same account and the same list. The editor adapts to the screen — the catalog and build tools open as bottom sheets — but it's the same design and the same features.

The one rule: sign in the same way
Google, Apple and email sign-ins are separate accounts, even for the same person. Pick one and use it on every device. If a device shows an empty list or the unlock screen, you're signed in a different way — see Designs missing after signing in.

Offline edits
Lose the connection and keep working: the cloud turns amber, edits are queued on the device in order, and they're sent the moment you're back online. Don't sign out or clear the app's data while it's amber.
Tips
One device at a time
Both devices sync, but the last write wins. Finish on one before picking up on the other — the change is there within seconds.
A copy that doesn't sync
Want a frozen version? Export the design as JSON. Files don't sync; they're a snapshot you keep.
Common mistakes
Expecting a Save or Sync button
There isn't one. The cloud icon is the whole story: green means it's on your account.
Different sign-ins on different devices
The most common reason designs seem to be missing. Sign out and sign in the way you did on the first device.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to sync manually?
No. Every change is saved to your account as you make it and appears on your other devices within seconds.
Why don't my designs show on my phone?
You're almost certainly signed in a different way (Google vs Apple vs email). Use the same sign-in as on the device that has the designs.
Can I edit on two devices at the same time?
You can, but the last write wins. Work on one device at a time.
What happens if I edit offline?
Edits are kept on the device (amber cloud) and sent when you're back online, in order.
Is there a limit on designs or devices?
No. Unlimited designs, and your account works on as many devices as you sign in on.
