Flooring options — every material, tone, and plank size
A reference to every floor the app can lay: three indoor materials with their full color palettes and hardwood plank sizing, plus the outdoor ground covers yards use — all applied per room and rendered in 2D and 3D.
Flooring lives in the Materials tab — open Flooring and tap any room on the plan preview (or the whole floor) to assign a material. The popup's 3D button shows the result without losing your selection.
Indoors there are three materials — Tile, Hardwood, Carpet — each with its own palette; None clears a room back to the plain canvas. Outdoor floors (yards) swap the list for ground covers. Everything renders in both the 2D plan and the 3D view, patterns included.

Hardwood — 12 tones, your plank size
Twelve wood tones: Oak, Maple, Walnut, Grey Wash, Espresso, Honey Oak, Natural Pine, Cherry, Hickory, White Oak, Whitewashed, and Ebony. Then size the planks like the real product: widths of 3¼″, 5″, 7″, 8″, 10″, or 12″, lengths of 3–12 ft — or tap Other… on either to type your own. Planks draw with a staggered running bond, just like a laid floor.

Tile — six colors on a 12-inch grid
Tile lays a clean 12″ grid in Light Grey, White, Beige, Slate, Charcoal, or Terracotta — the usual pick for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and mud rooms, where the grid also helps you read scale at a glance.

Carpet — six soft palettes
Carpet fills the room with a soft texture in Beige, Greige, Dove Grey, Cream, Charcoal, or Navy — bedrooms and dens, typically. Like every material, it stops exactly at the room's walls, flowing correctly around stairs and openings.

Outdoor ground covers — for yards
On a yard floor the material list changes to ground covers: lawn (four greens from Fresh to Dry), pavers (16″, in slate/sandstone/terracotta/charcoal, with grid, running-bond, and diagonal layouts), concrete (48″ panels), deck boards (cedar, redwood, weathered grey, ipe), gravel, mulch, tanbark, and asphalt. Yard zones — driveway, walkway, patio, play area — each take their own cover.
Tips
Set the whole floor first, then override rooms
Assign one material to the whole floor in a tap, then re-tap just the rooms that differ — tile in the bath, carpet in the bedroom. It's faster than doing every room from scratch.
Match your real plank
Flooring boxes state the plank size — enter it with Other… and the 3D view previews the actual product you're deciding on, not a generic floor.

Common confusions
Looking for flooring on the wrong tab
Flooring is under Materials, next to Wall Paints — not in the furniture catalog. (Gym flooring mats are the exception: they're placeable items in the Gym category.)
Expecting wall paint here
Floors and walls are separate: this popup does floors; wall colors live in Wall Paints right beside it, with its own brand-color catalog.
Frequently asked questions
Can two rooms share one continuous floor?
Give both rooms the same material and tone and the pattern reads as continuous across the opening — each room still keeps its own setting, so you can change one later.
Does flooring show in exports?
Yes — flooring renders in the 2D plan and therefore in PNG/PDF exports and prints, and of course in the 3D view and GLB model.
Is there a cost per material?
No — every material, tone, and plank size is included in the one-time purchase, like the rest of the app.
