Overview

A floor lamp is a slim standing light that fills a corner or flanks seating with ambient or reading-height illumination. It is a flexible way to add light wherever an outlet allows, with no surface needed.

Sizing & placement

Its narrow 12-inch base barely touches the floor plan, and the 60-inch height places the shade at standing eye level beside a chair or sofa. Tuck it against a wall or behind furniture to keep the footprint out of the walkway.
