Privacy: who can see my designs?
Your designs are private unless you choose to share them. Here's the full picture on visibility.
Your designs are private. Nobody else can open them — not other RoomSketch3D users, not someone who knows your email, not search engines — unless you share one yourself. There is exactly one way to do that: make a design public from your Shared designs page, which gives it a read-only link.

Private by default
Every design belongs to the account that made it and is stored under that account only. Nothing you draw is listed, searchable or visible to anyone else. Sharing is always something you do on purpose, and it starts in the Export / Print / Share menu with Share with a link.

Make one public and copy the link
Press Make public on a design. It gets a permanent read-only link (`…/u/your-handle/design-id`) shown under the row, with Copy and Open buttons. Send that link to anyone — they don't need an account. Only that design is exposed; the rest stay private.

What the other person sees
The link opens a viewer with your plan and a 3D view. They can look, zoom and orbit, and that's all: no editing, no export, no access to your other designs or your account. The page isn't indexed by search engines, so only people who have the link can reach it. If you also post a screenshot on social media, that image is public on that platform — the link is still needed to open the design itself.

Take it back
Press Public on the row and the design is private again. The old link stops working immediately for everyone who had it. Making it public later creates the same link again, so treat a link as revoked, not deleted.
Tips
Share a copy, not the original
Duplicate the design first and make the copy public. You can keep editing the original without the shared version changing under the viewer.

Common mistakes
Assuming a shared link is private
Anyone who has the link can open it and pass it on. Share it the way you'd share a document link, and make the design private again when you're done.

Frequently asked questions
Are my designs visible to other RoomSketch3D users?
No. Only you can open them, unless you make one public from the Shared designs page and give someone the link.
Can the person I share with edit my design?
No. A public link is read-only: they can view, zoom and orbit in 3D. To let someone edit, export the design as JSON and they import it into their own account.
Will a shared design show up in Google?
No. Public links aren't listed anywhere or indexed; only someone with the link can open it.
How do I stop sharing?
On the Shared designs page press Public on that row. It becomes private and the old link stops working straight away.
Does RoomSketch3D use my designs to train AI?
No. Your designs are not used for training. The photo-to-floor-plan feature sends the photo you choose to a model for analysis — not your designs.
Who can see designs I delete?
Nobody. Deleting a design removes it from your account and from any public link it had.
