The plan does not have to stop at the exterior walls. On the ground floor you can wrap a yard around the house, drag the property line to match your real lot, and pick a fence or wall style for each edge — or leave a side open for a gate.
Inside the property line, zones define the ground: lawn, driveway, patio, pool deck, mulch and flower beds, a vegetable garden, a play area, a fire pit, a BBQ zone. Draw walkways with snapping and live distance readouts. Then place what goes on top — outdoor furniture, grills, pools, hot tubs, pergolas, gazebos, sheds, play sets, fountains, and a plant catalog of trees, hedges, evergreens, and flowers.
Structures attach to the house too: awnings hang on exterior walls with a chosen reach, slope, and fabric; balconies and patios show their own area, kept separate from the home's square footage. In 3D the view pulls back far enough to take in the whole property, and elevation views show the house from the street.
