Overview

A full basketball court with NBA lines, ready to drop into a gym, a sports hall or a big outdoor lot. Like every court in the app, it is one item: the size you set is the whole floor surface, and the lines are painted on it at their real, regulation size. Select it to switch between NBA, College, High school or FIBA lines, full or half court, Hardwood, Sport tile or Concrete, hoops on or off, and the colour of the key.

Sizing & placement

The surface is 1200 × 672 inches (100 × 56 ft): the 94 × 50 ft NBA court plus 3 ft of run-off all round, the minimum the NCAA and NFHS rules ask for outside the lines (10 ft is preferred). The NBA court diagram asks for more, at least 8 ft past the end lines and 5 ft past the sidelines, so type a larger W × D for an arena-style apron. The hoops stand 13 ft (156 inches) tall with the rim at 10 ft. The key is 16 ft wide and the three-point line 23 ft 9 in (22 ft in the corners). Type a smaller surface and the lines stay full size; you see the part that fits.

Where it works

School and community gyms, sports halls, recreation centres and large outdoor courts. Find it under Sports & Venues (Gym tab) or search "basketball", "court" or "cancha". Bleachers and benches can stand on the run-off.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the full basketball court?
The item is a 100 × 56 ft (1200 × 672 inch) surface holding a 94 × 50 ft NBA court with 3 ft of run-off around it. Its hoops are 13 ft tall, rim at 10 ft.
Can I change it to college, high school or FIBA lines?
Yes. Select the court and tap NBA, College, High school or FIBA. The surface keeps its size; only the painted lines change. A high school court is 84 ft long, so it leaves more run-off at each end.
Will bleachers overlap the court?
No. Courts lie flat like a rug, so bleachers, benches and team chairs can stand on the run-off without Flow Check calling it an overlap. Keep them outside the boundary lines.
