Half Basketball Court (50 × 47 ft)

Overview
A half basketball court on concrete, the classic park, school-yard or big-driveway court with one hoop. One configurable item: the size is the whole slab and the lines are painted at their real size; select it to change the lines, go full court, switch to Hardwood or Sport tile, turn the hoop off or recolour the key.
Sizing & placement
The slab is 600 × 600 inches (50 × 50 ft): a 50 ft wide, 47 ft deep half court with NBA lines and 3 ft of run-off behind the baseline. The hoop is at the back of the slab (the top of the plan before you rotate it), 13 ft (156 inches) tall with the rim at 10 ft. The concrete is drawn with broom-finish control joints every 10 ft. A smaller slab keeps the lines at full size and shows the part that fits.
Where it works
Parks, school yards, large driveways and backyard slabs. Find it under Sports & Venues (Gym tab) or search "half court", "basketball" or "driveway court".

Frequently asked questions
- What size is a half basketball court?
- A half court is 50 ft wide and 47 ft from the baseline to the centre line. This item is a 50 × 50 ft slab, leaving 3 ft behind the baseline.
- Can I use high school lines instead of NBA?
- Yes. Select the court and tap High school (or College or FIBA). The high school three-point line is 19 ft 9 in, which fits a smaller slab more easily than the NBA's 23 ft 9 in.
- How do I point the hoop the other way?
- Select the court and use Rotate. Before rotating, the hoop is at the top of the plan.
