A tape measure built into your plan
Drop the tape measure anywhere on the canvas and stretch it wall to wall, furniture to furniture, or furniture to wall to check any clearance. Lock an end to a piece of furniture and the reading updates live as you drag the piece — slide the sofa until the walkway is exactly right, then get on with your day. Switch it to Area mode and drag a rectangle to size a rug or a tiled zone, with the square footage updating live.
